Hello everyone

Can anyone help me please!
My daughter is almost 7 years old and we have an entry assessment at Newton London school. Does anyone know what the assessment entails?

Examples of tests to practice etc. as the agency sent me only one sample I was hoping to get few tests.

Mentor Education has been helping local children achieve places at the top South London independent schools for over 30 years.

Over the next couple of weeks we are running mock Interview sessions based on our knowledge of the local Independent schools 7+ 11+ entrance interviews. Sessions will be conducted by a school entrance specialist tutor and will involve a variety of activities and tasks to help boost confidence and familiarise your child with what they might expect during the actual assessment. 

The assessments will be held at our Clapham South office and will include a 1 hour 1:1 session with your child, followed by written feedback and advice. The assessment package is £149.

Hi - you could also ask the admissions office at Newton Prep what the assessment will entail.

It might not be as elaborate as you think. Perhaps more of a chance for the school to ascertain that your daughter doesn’t have any major learning difficulties or development issues.

Newton Prep caters for children of all abilities so the assessment is unlikely to be very difficult. They are a friendly team and will do everything they can to put your daughter at ease. Try not to stress too much.
