New Collective Artist Studio & Classes opening soon! Art enthusiasts - please help me by giving your opinion :) !

Hi all mamas of the area :)!

My name is Caroline and I will be soon opening a collective Artist Studio & Art Classes on Battersea High St, just a few minutes from Clapham Junction Station...

And it would really help me to get your input and feedback to make this dream a reality!

Are you a hobbyist painter ?
Would you like to have a space paint or make art?
Would you be interested in taking classes?
Would you want art classes for your children?

I would love to have your opinion on this, so if you could please reply to this thread if you would potentially be interested, and how much you would be  willing to contribute financially for these activities?

Thank you so much!!! :)

Caroline- art enthusiast of Clapham. Junction

Hi Caroline,
Great idea for the area and best of luck bringing it together! I’m in Balham so as you’re not going to be that close I don’t see myself being able to bring my kids for classes (but I think that’s a great idea) however, I’ve been interested in doing a drop in figure drawing class every now and then. If that was something you offered monthly or weekly I know I’d personally attend at least once a month. I know that’s very specific and not sure how helpful. I went to university for art, studied graphic design and do that professionally - but am always craving time to get back to drawing and painting. But I have two young children so if your studio offered flexible class attendance, that would be ideal. Thanks!

I’d be interested in adult drop in classes for painting or drawing. Also for holiday classes for kids.

I’m not sure if you’re aware, but there is a fantastic adults art school on lavender hill so worth checking our their offerings as a comparison.

Thanks
