JKS Restaurants has announced that it will open a second Arcade Food Hall at Battersea Power Station in London in 2023, following the opening of the brand’s first food hall in Tottenham Court Road’s Centre Point.
The new food hall will be situated at the heart of Battersea Power Station and will be a 24,000 square foot space, with the interior design led by Red Deer.
Among a number of new JKS brands that will make up the food hall, the group will also bring three standalone restaurants to the food hall, including popular Taiwanese restaurant BAO, and an unnamed Thai restaurant, yet to be announced.
The original Arcade Food Hall at Centre Point, which opened in April 2022, features nine unique brands created by JKS in a 12,500 square foot Grade II listed space.
Karam Sethi, Founder and Creative Director of JKS, said: “We’re looking forward to opening Arcade at Battersea Power Station next year. We will be creating a number of exciting new brands which showcase even more global cuisines, while also expanding and developing some of our existing Arcade brands, to create a food and drink destination south of the river worth travelling for.”
Sam Cotton, Head of Leasing at Battersea Power Station, said: “London’s food scene has changed significantly over the past decade thanks to innovative dining experiences such as Arcade. From the outset it has been our vision to place food and hospitality at the heart of Battersea Power Station. We cannot wait to see Arcade open to the public next year.”
Arcade Food Hall Battersea Power Station will launch next year, with more details to follow on opening dates and times.
The second phase of the development at the power station opens to the public from this Autumn, and will house more than 100 shops, restaurants and cafes, events venues, a unique chimney lift experience offering 360-degree panoramic views of London’s skyline, new office space and 254 new residential apartments, providing an initial customer base for the new food hall once it opens.
