Brunch venue suggestions

Postby teaandcake » Thu Oct 06, 2022 11:40 am

Can anyone recommend a good brunch venue? I have a regular brunch with a group of friends on a Sat we've tried Tamra on Northcote Rd, Meghan's on Bedford Hill. Love MILK but feels as tho I've come to collect a teen at weekends, are there any other venues for a good brunch that serve alcohol? Happy to visit all parts of Clapham, Battersea as well as Balham.

I really love the Apple Blue in Balham, however I'm not sure they serve alcohol. Or the Breakfast Club on Battersea Rise :)

The Toast Rack on Trinity Road (opposite the County Arms) does great brunch and also serves alcohol. Highly recommended - only problem is you can't book but they have big diner style tables.

Here are mine around Northcote road:
1. The Old Bank - the food and service is surprisingly good and a lovely, open space with good acoustics (important when I meet friends).
2. The Address on Battersea Rise
3. Megan's by Clapham Common (I love the venue but can get very busy and take a while for food and the two toilets were not in the greatest state last time I visited)

The breakfast club in battersea rise is really good.
Then there’s the exhibit they do a good brunch with bottomless options if you want to really drink. The cyclist in Balham also used to do brunch. HOB do a nice brunch too, also in Balham.

Hope that helps

You mentioned that you have been to Meghans on Bedford Hill, there is also one on the Pavement, Clapham Old Town which has a very different feel and one down by Battersea Power Station too which might be a good option too.
