I have two Dyson's in a row but before I jump in a third time I am wondering if there are any other possibly better options? Just don't have the will to do endless searches so thought I would ask here. Thanks.

I find the Dyson upright vacuum cleaners cumbersome and frankly pretty hopeless, but their cordless 'wand' style ones are great.  If you want a plug in one then Miele have some great options.

The Henry is best value for money on the market,does everything no frills and should it go wrong very easy to fix with spare parts readily available been around for years I have one  since 1997 design has not changed much since then! Not sure if still do but all Hilton hotels used daily and they used to come at that time with a two year guarantee.
