What's Happened to Orchestrate on Webbs Road - has it gone?

Postby LoveShoes » Thu Feb 09, 2023 3:07 pm

Just that really.  I was walking past their shop front on Webbs Road and realised that there was a new name ... Bloom, I think and just wondered if Orchestrate had gone or been bought out.  Was just curious really as over the last couple of year's they seem to have had a huge amount of projects and hoardings up between the commons and seemed to have a really good track record and reputation.

Rebrand / refresh - new name is Bloom.

Heard it had grown a lot but wasn’t necessarily getting enough work. So I think it’s just a slimmer company and new refresh start.

I actually bumped into the owner on Webb’s and had a chat. Nice chap.

Didn’t you hear?

It’s a case of yet another contractor who built up pile of unhappy customers over low quality work. I mean finish is probably great, but it hides shady work underneath. Plus they don’t accept responsibility over dodgy workmanship because for them to pay for damages will cost a big time.

So they decide to follows usual tactic of these big contractors when it comes to warranty, to close the company and open new one, fresh, new design, new promises but still same director, location and cheap subcontractors, or whoever they can find.

Feeling sorry for people who can’t do nothing to get justice and need to spend money to repair after these sharks, but hey, that’s life.

@Jeremy23 - Well there's nothing filed at Companies House (company number 09716553) to say it has either closed down or changed the company name (the trading name may have changed) so I guess you just made that up.  Oh - and I have no connection with the company and have never been a customer.

I had a major renovation to undertake between the commons (200k without extension and loft which will be the next projects). I contacted them several times and never got an answer. I get they are busy but even a reply saying so would have been polite. I went with another contractor and have been super happy, but still shocked they could not even reply back.

Chorister, I often see you jumping in with your click’n’collect pseudo justice.

Here again you have done a couple of internet searches and not found the corroboration you were looking for, so your conclusion is a snide ‘I guess you just made that up.’ You fancy yourself as some kind of all-knowing arbiter, but the quality of your judgment is possibly the reason you have the time to make so many of them.

@Uidiot - actually I looked it up on the Companies House website, as I explained, because that is the formal record of liquidations etc and it is so easy to simply stick rumours online that it seems worth trying to corroborate facts before potentially damaging someone's business.  If that is pseudo justice then I can live with that.  They have now (formally) gone into liquidation.
