Hiring a country house for a day and a night

Postby Jonny Dyson Property Consultants » Thu Apr 27, 2023 4:15 pm

Hi all,

I'm trying to arrange a reunion in July and a few people have mentioned the idea of hiring a country house and getting some caterers in to do the evening meal.  There will be around 16 of us, but there needs to be indoor things to do if it is rubbish weather.  Has anyone got any suggestions for anywhere that's not more than say an hour's drive from London?

Many thanks in advance,

Jonny

Take a look at the Hesdin Hall Estate, a friend stayed there over Easter with her extended family.

Thanks for that NYE31, it looks absolutely amazing, but they want a minimum three night stay which is quite prohibitive cost-wise!  Anyone else have any suggestions please?
