Baby sleep consultant recommendations

Postby Amy+ » Fri May 12, 2023 12:09 pm

Hi, has anybody used a sleep consultant for their baby they would recommend? Ideally someone in person. My baby slept through the night until the dreaded 4 month regression where she started waking every 1-2 hours, but then hit 6 months and started sleeping better again, only waking once per night. However, that only lasted for 2 weeks and now we’re back to hourly wake ups at night with the added joy of daytime naps that last for a maximum of 30 minutes, which take up to an hour to get her down for. I’m at the end of my tether so I want to bring in a professional. Ideally someone who doesn’t do cry it out. Thanks.

might be worth looking at positively parenthood. They have online courses as well as sleep consultants who can help with 1:1s…

I used Laura and she was incredible. She got my 6 month old sleeping 12 hours a night (7 to 7) and napping in the day. My nights were an absolute disaster before! multiple feeds in a night for hours at a time. My daughter is 20 months now and still sleeping in her routine. Laura was an angel sent from heaven! although not a cheap one - good luck x

Would say worth reading Sarah Ockwell-Smith and the material she has on sleeping development.
