Information on Martindale Road Post Reply

Hi, 

We are looking to place an offer on a house on Martindale Road in Balham, we love the house but are slightly unsure of the area, we saw some crime statistics online which showed a few incidents two streets down- anyone has any feedback/ experience of the area? We are a young family and have a small child, we want to be absolutely sure before making such a big decision. Also, while I have you on this thread- any ideas on property prices in the area- does £700 per sq ft seem excessive?

I’ve lived in Martindale Road for 8 years and it’s a really lovely street with great neighbours. We all keep an eye out for each other. I have two small children so understand your concerns but have never been worried about the area. Hope that’s useful.
