My daughter, until recently, had an egg allergy, she's now 3 and is no longer reacting to egg in allergy skin prick tests - so we can have cakes etc. However, at 8 months was very unwell after eating scrambled eggs and tested positive for having an egg allergy, so we had to exclude it from her diet entirely for 3 years, in all forms (including mayonnaise / cakes / croissants etc). If you're unsure, wait a while, or just give egg in 'diluted' forms such as in cakes etc.
