Nutritionist recommendation

Postby Mary Quant » Wed Aug 23, 2023 3:49 pm

After another year of feeling awful in swimmers on holiday I am keen to try and get something sorted and use bak to school as my moment. Could anyone recommend a nutritionist, I would love to understand why my attitude to healthy eating seems to involve endless cycles of yo yo dieting. Happy to travel to see the right non judgemental person.

I yo yo dieted for about 35 years. Saw food as good and bad. Would break my diet and then go crazy etc. have done every diet. Lost weight many times but never kept off. I then found a programme called turtle method (weird name). Used to be called live like Louise. I started with them November 2020 and never looked back.
The ‘diet’ which is more a lifestyle is macro based and no food is good or bad. You just try and eat to your macros like doing a puzzle. So if you have too much fat today you eat a bit less over the rest of the week. Lots and lots of support. Encourages you to move more. Online workouts. Getting steps in. It’s absolutely brilliant. No fads. Just simple and it really works. I feel free from diets and if I put on a bit it doesn’t freak me out.

If you don’t mind working with someone online, do take a look at www.natrolive.com. Olivia is great and takes a very tailored approach to each client.

Try Lucinda Miller at Nature Doc (or one of her team). She is brilliant.
