We're super excited to announce that the author of the Booker Prize short-listed 'We Are All Completely Beside Ourselves', Karen Joy Fowler, will be joining us on the evening of World Book Day for an adults-only reading of this book, Q&A and book signing. Author of 'The Jane Austen Book Club' and Booker Prize long-listed 'Booth', Karen is donating her time and books to help us raise funds for Fircroft's Class of 24.
Tickets can be booked in advance for just £5 (£7 on the door) and include a comp. drink on arrival. Nappy Valley won't let us post our booking form address here, but please reply to this message or DM us for a link.
The event will be held in the gorgeous Garden Hub at Fircroft Primary School, Tooting Bec (although wet weather plans are in place if spring hasn't quite sprung by then) AND it's open to all adults in our local community, so bring your book club, friends or neighbours. Everyone is welcome.

Who are we? We're parents of Fircroft Primary School's Class of 24 and we're raising funds to ensure every Year 6 pupil is included in their end of primary school celebrations, without placing any additional financial pressure on their parents and carers. Through bake sales, raffles and events such as this, we hope to be able to provide every child with a send-off to remember.
