Secondary school: Burntwood vs La Retraite Post Reply

Morning. Can I please ask if anyone has compared Burntwood and La Retraite as a secondary schools and where did you land. We have a place at Burntwood but hearing great things about LaRetraite. We will be visiting the school.

I don't know anything about La Retraite and didn't compare the two schools, but we are very happy with Burntwood.
My daughter is currently in Year 7 at Burntwood and is really enjoying it. The buildings/class rooms and facilities are great. There is a very wide range of sport and non-sport clubs available. I was very impressed with my daughter's teachers when I meet with them at the Parent/Teacher evening.

Similar to KJG, we didn’t look at La Retraite but our daughter is in year 7 at Burntwood. She is very happy there and we have been impressed so far. As KJG said, the buildings and space are also fantastic. I think it’s an underrated school.
