For grease stains, Ecover built-in brush stain remover is the bomb: https://www.ecover.com/products/stain-remover/ For the orange aspect - do you know what it is? If tomato-based, once washed, dry it in direct sunlight, which should fade it hopefully to the point of invisibility.

Hi there

So sorry to hear this! May I suggest getting one of the Nancy Birtwhistle books (they also have them in our local libraries.)

She is amazing for giving advice on so many things, including tough stains, but she uses only environmental ingredients. I have all three of her books (having first taken them out of the library), and her recipes for cleaning etc. really work and don’t kill fishes, so a win/win. I do hope your stain comes out 🤗

Hi there,
Before you do anything else, before you wash or scrub at it, just spray the stain liberally with hairspray, the stain may disperse and spread a bit and then pop it in the wash. It should work a treat as long as you haven’t attempted to treat the stain already. Still worth a try if you have though.

OMG I have tried te hairspray suggestion and it has faded substantially. I reckon if I wash it wit regular vanish it should pretty much get rid of it. So grateful for the suggestions!
