Ad hoc childcare company but for dogs not children!

Postby Freds Gang » Wed Jul 24, 2024 4:21 pm

Does anything like ad hoc childcare exist for dogs? I know that there are lots of walking and boarding companies but I am keen to find a company that I might be able to book at short notice for an hour or two if I have to go to a meeting or will be back from a meeting later than planned.

Some neighbours have offered to help but to be honest when I need this sort of help often at short notice so I would prefer to just be able to go online and book and pay.

If anyone knows of such a company please can you reply to this post.

Many thanks

The Bubble app offers dog care

I think the min booking period is 2 hours

We’ve used it for emergency dog sitting (and lots of babysitting) and the woman was lovely

I use Mad About Dogs London who are amazing at accommodating my dogs needs, mostly last minute due to my crazy work schedule. Most of the lady’s dogs are between the commons so it works well for us.

I am a dogsitter (based in Wandsworth) and often look after dogs on an ad-hoc basis. I have outside space and adore all canines! Please get in touch via my contact details below if you'd like help.

Check out various apps , have used for holidays
Rover or Pawshake i found helpful.
Some better than others in terms of I.T but those two worked well.
