Can anyone recommend somewhere to hire a car seats for 2 year old from? We have family flying in to visit over Christmas and need our car seat for our little one.

I saw that we hadn't had any response to this! I am thinking of starting a "borrowing" section on the site where people could ask if they could borrow items for a short time. Do you think this might work? Not sure if car seats fit into this category!

Sorry I'm s bit confused, do you need a car seat or do your Visitors? Are they hiring a car? Is so they can hire one through the car rental company.

Hi - our visitors need a car seat (we can't lend them ours as we need it). They aren't hiring a car because they'll be with family who have cars while here. Thanks - I'll have a look at the website.

I live in Earlsfield and have a car seat i would be happy to lend you as my son is only 6 months so won't need it for another few months. If you would like to borrow it let me know.

Thanks - that's very kind! We would need it from 20th December to 16th Jan. Is that too long? I am in Tooting Bec so would be easy to collect whenever suits you.

We've often had the same dilemma - so much so that we now own three carseats (and only have one child). Madness!

Very kind of pippamackay to lend you hers (I would but we also have visiting family with children so need ours).

Am happy for you to borrow it between those dates i don't think Alex will be in it by then. Do want to say though that it is 2nd hand as we have borrowed it from family and it hasn't been in an accident or anything and has been used only once.
