Very good friends of ours have a son Alex who was diagnosed with cancer last year at only 20 months old. He has had a lot of different forms of treatment, but unfortunately recently relapsed. As it is such a rare form of cancer the family hope there may be other options available abroad to treat him, however these options come at considerable financial cost.
Friends of the family have organised a one mile long sponsored walk for kids and adults this Saturday, 3rd December on Wandsworth Common called the 'Tiddler Toddle' to try and raise some funds for Alex's treatment. There will be an entry fee of £5 a head, and we would like each child that gets involved to try to get sponsored to do the 1 mile walk from friends and family (sponsorship form available).
There will be fun and games along the way (home baking / raffle / face painting, bag piper, games etc) both before and after the walk.
We would love you to join us for this fun day out for such a worthy cause. Meeting point is beside the swing park on the common near the Common Ground cafe at 10am, walk starts at 10.30 rain or shine. We would love everyone to wear a touch of red and a silly hat so that we stand out.
