Postby sally2 » Fri Dec 02, 2011 6:23 pm

Hi there,

Could anyone recommend a good children's entertainer that they have used before or have had recommended to them please. The age group would be for 3 and up.

Thanks so much.

I love Gymboree. Becky from the Vitality Centre (Gymboree Wandsworth) is amazing and will tailor party if thats what you are looking for. Also they will come home or you can have the party there. Good luck!

I've used Danny Nutt two years running. First year he came as Knight Daniel and to be honest I was too busy running around in the kitchen to pay any notice, but the feedback from all the other parents was great and my DS1 seemed to be happy. I booked him next time as Knight Daniel. Went down equally well. I will probably be booking Super Dan this January :)

And they have girl entertainers to do girl themes too!

I have just used Johanna from octopus parties: she was great at my 4yo party - drawing them all in and with a variety of games.... Also was calm, unlike some of the very OTT entertainers you find these days

I can recommend my friends company 'Notorious Kids' - http://www.notoriousproductions.co.uk/kids.php

They create fabulous, magical interactive parties for ages 3 upwards. Really lovely entertainment with costumed characters taking the children on an imaginative journey. They can create a party based on any theme so if you have any ideas they are delighted to bring them to life!

I've been at many of the parties and watching the children totally captivated by the entertainment is magical.

Hope that helps!

Highly recommend Mr Marvel (we like Tom best!) he comes along and does a magic show, with puppet show, and brings a live rabbit....then after food, makes sure all the kid's energy is expended in a disco with lights music & a bit of karaoke - My 5 year old loved him, and my 2 year old joined in really well - good luck!

Asta, one of the owners used to be our nanny and she's just completely lovely and brilliant.
