Really need to lose some weight. Has anyone tried Janeplan?

Postby Wandle » Mon Jan 02, 2012 10:01 pm

I have had two kids and have now had enough of the tyre around my waist!! Was thinking about doing JanePlan after having seen it advertised here. Has anyone done it before and was it successful?

Thanks for that. Unfortunately, I'm injured at the moment so dieting is my only option but I'll definitely keep him in mind when my knee gets better.

Am currently dieting and using a brilliant app- myfitnesspal. It makes calorie counting really easy and tracks your success. Here is a whole online community also (I'm not using that bit but if you need the extra motivation it can help). Not come across the janeplan. Just thought I would share!

Thanks. That app sounds good. The reason I like the sound of Janeplan is that all the hassle of dieting is taken care of for you. The food is delivered to your door and you get constant support from their nutritionists. Like you said with the app - it really helps to have someone out there to keep you motivated.

Hi, yes I have used Jane Plan and thoroughly recommend it. I only wanted to lose about 2- 3kg and shed this in 10 days. It is extremely well priced and the food is fine when combined with your own fruit and veg!

Good luck. A very easy way to diet with someone else doing the thinking for you!

I did it a year ago and, amazingly, have kept the weight off! It was brilliant. The food was delicious, Jane is just lovely and is always there for constant advice and support and really reasonable too. Really recommend it.
A friend of a friend has just started working for Janeplan in this area. I will get hold of her details for you.

I have got her details. She is called Daisy Bird and her number is 07788451784. She will be able to answer all your questions.

I forgot to mention earlier as well that when I was on the Jane Plan I was able to buy an extra meal for my husband in the evening which made my life so easy in regards to cooking suppers!! He's normally really fussy but he thought the meals were fab.

Good luck.

Hi,

I did JanePlan for 4 weeks last spring before my holiday and lost 10 pounds. My husband joined me, and we got the plan where I had my 3 meals and he got dinner. He also lost about 10 pounds.

The food was tasty, so we did another two weeks but we were bored of the food by then so didn't really do very well.

Good luck!

OK I have done it! I have spoken to Daisy who was really helpful and once I decided to do it I booked my nutritional consultation, which can be done over the phone with Jane. Consultation done, where Jane asked me how much I weigh, how much I want to weigh, about my lifestyle, food allergies and intolerance etc and I am doing it for a month with a day off a week - eek! I start on Saturday. Wish me luck.

Thanks for everyone's help.
