Kate Perry and Russel Brand - anyone else pissed off?

Postby Thankyoutories » Thu Jan 05, 2012 8:05 am

Is it just me or does anyone else get angry with the lack of effort that some famous people put into their marriages.

I feel really whiney for even writing this post but I can't understand how these guys like Russell Brand and Katy Perry can even claim they worked at their marriage after 14 months.

Totally agree, ok so we don't know what goes on in their lives but...14 months??? Seems a bit silly :/

Interestingly, it appears it was she who wanted to continue partying whilst he wanted a kid...

Well, it does happen in real life too.
One of my friends divorced less than 6 months after getting married (to a guy she was with for 10 years prior the weeding!)
and another one divorced about a year after the wedding and went on a trip around the world on her own.

So, it is not only celebrities... :)

Couples don't know each other properly unless they live together. If they think it is not working nor will work out, why prolong the pain and unhappiness? They have no lids and are both independent so I think they done the right think. I speak from my own experience on my fist marriage. I was together with ex for 3 years before getting married but less than 10 months on I knew she was ready to separate but was holding back because I was totally depending on him and he took me to live with him in a foreign country to work on his career (I left mine to go with him) so he couldn't just dump me like that. Of course he was having an affair and after 18 months marriage he managed to have the courage to give me red card. It wasn't easy for me but we were both clearly unhappy. Everyone deserve a chance to start again.
