Thanks Julian. Called but he is solidly booked, seems to be a busy time for boiler repairs. Anyone else have a recommendation I would be very grateful.

i posted a similar plea recently and thought i'd share my experience. i liked the sound of jeremy but also found he was booked. i had a bad experience with two boiler specialists (offline recommendations) who could not find the problem. in the end i gave in to my husband's original view about using pimlico plumbers. i thought they'd be overpriced and have to say i have completely changed my view. they spotted the problem really quickly whereas the others could not and had it sorted quickly when they said they would. much better value in the long run. i'd go direct to them next time. good luck

I can highly recommend Terry Lambert who recently sorted out our boiler which needed replacing and did a great job. Very tidy and shifted his schedule to meet our needs when ours finally stopped working altogether two weeks before he was due to fix it. He can be had at 07894 425929
