What about Playball?

My daughter goes, and really enjoys it.

We go to the one that's on at Latchmere Leisure Centre now, and then moves to Clapham Common Tennis Courts when it gets warmer, (think they move beginning of March).

She also does ballet with Fancy Footwork

On a Friday afternoon which she LOVES.

Hope that helps!

We ve been doing the little Gym in wandsworth she was 18 months old (she id now 3,2yrs). Absolutrly brilliant. She now does donkey kicks, summersault, walking on beams, etc. she also goes to ballet classes so the two together are perfect. She has really drvelopped her physical, back position, de-synchronisation and confidence.

Tinkerbell100-how funny! I wonder if they are in the same class?! PM me if you like.

Supergirl-I looked into Little Gym, but it seemed SO expensive compared to other classes... is it worth it?

I'm personally a HUGE fan of Little Kickers. My son is much younger than your daughter but he adores it and I can only see it getting more fun as the kids get bigger.

Loads of classes around this area too on lots of days.

It is indeed quite expnsive, about £19 per class but it is very very good. Our youngest has now started and she is thriving. Unlike places like tumble tots, the equipment is of very good quality and ery well looked after. Everything is designed so the child is using the SAME equipment as a real gymnast o they are used to the equipment and confident about using them. It also develops their agility, confidence and their core muscle. Little gym is probably the one thing thst we will never stop and the last activity we would stope if we had to reduce our budget...
My husband who is n ex-rugby player pro, is really keen on the little gym both becuse of the qulity of the equipment and the design of the exercise, and our children loving going to thr gym (the highlight of the week!)

£19? Wow...... That's almost as mad as the Milton Keynes Snowdome charging £140 for a 45mins private lesson.

I should also add. It is not run like a playgroup. It is a proper structure class where yes children have fun but also learn and develop the physical side of thing boosting their confidence and as i said their core muscle.
It goes until the age of 12 and you can see the immense progress the children make. From the age of 3 the parents are not in, just chldren and teachers. So they also learn to follow instructions and the discipline.
It is not for everybody but for us it works because this is what we want for our children, they have very few activities but they are treated seriously and have a structure.

I would also recommend Little Kickers. I have 2 boys (22 months and 3&1/2) and they both love it. The coaches are really encouraging, which has been great as my eldest was very shy initially. There are lots of girls that go too.

Another thumbs up for Little Gym. My 4 year old has tried Little Kickers, Ballet (Vacani and Fancyfootwork),Tumble Tots and Playball and enjoyed them all. However it is Little Gym that she absolutely loves. It is expensive but it is because it run by proper gymnastic instructors unlike say Tumble Tots. Also each term is actually 1.5 terms (e.g. Sept to Feb). It is definitely the class where she is learnt the most e.g. using the bars, beam, doing cartwheels and forward rolls etc...
