Handyman

Postby milliesmum » Fri Mar 09, 2012 2:39 pm

I need a handyman to do some bits and pieces around the house. From putting up a curtain rail and curtains, a new shelf and fixing a stuck tap. There's lots of handyman companies on Google. Has anyone tried any of them?

Thanks

Hello,

When we moved in our new place in July, I used a gentleman called Vitor who did an amazing job from putting up shelves, to hanging pictures, to fixing the doorbell etc. He really can do it all and he sticks to his timeless which is a bonus.

His number is: 07947 483 126

good luck!
A.

Hi
I would also recommend Dominic Cartlidge. I got his details from Nappy Valley Net after scouring the forum for recommendations. I am so pleased I contacted him. He is really nice, easy to deal with, reasonably priced, but most importantly he is great at his job and appears to be able to turn his hand to most things. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him (and I have no affiliations to him!)
Thanks

Hi there

I know a reliable Handyman whom my husband and I call upon regularly to do work at our properties. He is a qualified carpenter, he can paint, decorate, tile or anything I have ever asked of him. He is known around Clapham Junction for the high standard of work and even fairer pricing. He is always doing work for both Francesca Alexander Hair Salons on Webbs Road in Clapham. His business is based on word of mouth and referral.

His name is Billy King 07814492755 or email: kingandparcel@gmail.com

Here is a link to a fabulous front door restoration project he did -

I cannot say enough about his good work!
