I may be guilty of not being as funny as I think I am, but a few of you are reading too much into my comments!

So firstly, apologies if anyone is offended.

Secondly, I was trying to make a joke about the fact that she was photographed allegedly risking her kids life and I was attaching that embarrassment to her clothes, not the ice. You can't even clearly see her clothes.

Not funny, maybe. But it was certainly not meant to be bitchy.

As for Mattyc comments, I found them a bit over-the-top. I could have hit back with something grumpy but all that does is to escalate into a war-of-words and at the end of the day NVN is a friendly local mums site.

So...apologies again. Offence was not meant. But I think this is being a bit overblown and if a bloke goes onto a mums site and says "Yet another lot of silly women..." then I think he has been let off very very lightly.

The debate in this thread and the celebrity thread seems to be going on forever but the solution is quite simple, if you don't agree or like the nature of this thread then don't read it and certainly don't post in it! Your comments are not going to affect those actually interested in this thread from posting their comments, in fact you are just keeping this thread going!

Obviously Admin doesn't think there is anything wrong with these threads or they would have been removed, and they wouldn't be posting in it themselves!!

At Wimbledon Common yesterday and was staggered to see a father walking across the ice pulling his two very young children on a sledge.....we watched, with a lot of other families, in complete disbelief at his stupidity.

Just like to say that I think a lot of people adding posts on here are one and the same. Was it not a little odd that Tamara and ColdasChristmas (who ever you they may be) were so quick with a reply on Saturday to my rant.

Also just wanted to add that I'm not male and my reference about silly women was just that. A lot of women are are very b....y about one another, so I'll leave it at that.

I have been using this site for a while mostly for local information as I found it helpful but I now think this site is not worth the bother, you join post a comment and then you are accused of all sorts WHAT IS THE POINT OF THIS???

Well I have to say I am on a roll at the moment! Not only did I call you a man when you're a woman but I've managed to annoy everyone else at the same time when I was simply trying to pass a funny comment about a photo.

I think you might be getting a bit confused about the people involved though, I don't think Coldatchristmas replied to this thread, unless it was deleted and I haven't seen it?
