Classics with my Baby - A monthly classical concert series specifically designed for you and your baby to enjoy together

Next concert: Friday, 18th May, 2012, concert 10:30am (doors open at 10am for "eat cake and mingle")

Location: CLAPHAM -St. Luke's Church, 194 Ramsden Road,  London SW12 8RQ

Ode to Joy!
Featuring: Philippa Mo (violin) and Miaomiao Yu (piano)

We celebrate one of the greatest composers, Ludwig van Beethoven, in a programme to lift all our spirits. Despite his suffering at the hands of his violent alcoholic father, and his progression to complete deafness, Beethoven’s Ode to Joy depicted beauty and the triumph of life with unswerving faith.  We also play Beethoven’s humorous and energetic Violin Sonata in G major,  a virtuosic Rondo by Mozart and Beethoven’s famous bagatelle titled “Fur Elise” - what financial foresight the man showed (consider ringtones and techno re-mixes)  as he scrawled on his manuscript two hundred years ago!

Join us for a monthly event in Clapham or check our website for more concerts in locations across London. The concerts are one hour long and are designed for babies and children of all ages and their carers. It's about allowing the babies to do what they need to do, but at the same time, giving them an opportunity to listen to great music. The concerts are also for mums and carers to take a moment for themselves - enjoying top quality music performed by professional concert artists - with their babes in tow.

Tickets available on our website or at the door on the day
Adults £10, children come for free

Next concert in Clapham:
Friday 15th June
Jubilation!
