House Builder Recommendation Post Reply

Can anyone help me please? We are hopefully going to be buying a house in Teddington which has planning permission to knock down the current house and build a new one. Before we do this we need to get some quotes to build the house, to make sure we can afford to do it and won't end up living in a mobile home on a building site for the rest of our lives.

Can anyone recommend a builder of single properties that might be able to help us? They would obvioulsy need to cover the Teddington area.

Any advice much appreciated.

Sallyparker, I couldn't help wondering a little about your recommendation as I had a bad experience with a local building company with a similar name to this though they may not be connected. I checked your postings and noticed that you have done two postings so far on this site and they are both identically worded and both recommending South London Extensions and Lofts. I do hope you have no connection with the company you are recommending.

Hey all, Just to let you know I used that building firm "south london extensions & lofts" a few months ago for my building project in clapham and believe me they were fantastic, on budget and on time so without a doubt they are good !!!

If you look under today "Roof/Tiler" post, there is Amandaherring recommending the same company using similar wording to SallyParker.

Can they be the same person trying to spam the website? Annabel should look into it.

Hi there,

As an estate agent we often get asked for recommendations for builders. I don't like to recommend as there is then a certain risk for us if it all goes wrong, however our clients have come back with good reports of two particular builders recently:
