PROFESSIONAL MATERNITY NURSE & SLEEP CONSULTANT

Postby MaternityNurse » Mon Aug 27, 2012 9:01 am

I'm a professional Maternity/Breastfeed/Sleep Consultant.
32 yrs exp (1000+ babies, 27 sets twins).

I love caring for mothers & babies. I have a cheerful & positive attitude when offering you support so that you and your baby are happy, calm and thriving. I truly understand your concerns & make a point of listening to you carefully whilst helping you to understand your little one. By getting to know his individual character and working with him, I help you to gain confidence and to guide your precious little one into a pattern that suits his needs and yours as a family. It IS possible to get a good nights sleep and not to have to get up endlessly in the night with your baby……it just takes a little time, patience and understanding. I can help you achieve this quickly and easily. Your baby will be a healthy sleeper and you will become a highly confident parent who truly understands your baby. Your other children will be encouraged to participate in a fun way to care for and interact with their new brother or sister too.
I am sensitive to your needs as a couple to spend time on your own and am discreet especially in the evenings and when you have visitors. I also have meals on my own for this purpose. I am flexible and can, for example, walk dogs, do the weekly shop, play with siblings, unload the dishwasher etc...

TOP VERIFIABLE REFERENCES, CRB police check/2012 baby and child CPR/childcare diplomas & certificates all available at the interview.

What recent parents say about me:

Mrs Y - Aug '12 (3rd baby slept through the night at 8 wks old)
"Suzy has taken great care of our son who is a very happy, confident baby on an easy routine and sleeping through the night from eight weeks old. She has given me super tips for helping the brothers to accept our new addition. Suzy has been professional and discreet....I would highly recommend her."

Mrs R Jun '12 (Skype consultation: 1st baby diagnosed with colic)
"I just wanted to thank you SO much for taking the time to offer me so much excellent and practical advice. It's so reassuring to get expert tips and to know that we aren't doing anything terribly wrong!"

Mrs D-S - Dec'11/May '12 (Twins slept through the night & baby led weaning)
"Suzy was a fount of information and advice. This was most welcome to us as first time parents.... She adapts well to the specifics of each household and designed a routine specifically around our babies ages, weights and temperaments which contributed to a much calmer household. Suzy also takes time to consider how the new mother is feeling and coping. She was a huge support and we will miss her very much!"

Mrs D - Oct/Nov 11 (1 visit + Skype follow up consultancy for sleep issues)
"Theo had terrible wind problems from birth and was very difficult to settle both day and night. Within a week after Suzy's visit, Theo was settling well both day and night which gave me valuable time back to spend with my daughters.  I have learnt so much from Suzy, she has not only taught me about sleep, feeding and (in Theo's case) very important winding, she has taught me about temperaments and most importantly, to believe in myself again!"

Mrs G - Aug'11 (2nd baby with reflux, physical and developmental issues)
"When Suzy arrived, our son was not on any routine and was not developing as we would have hoped and expected. Suzy accomplished in one week what I thought would take the entire summer. She had our son on a routine for both day and night within days. The way in which she approached my son was careful and respectful of my baby. She was loving, caring, patient and completely devoted to my son for the duration of her time with us."

Mrs H - Jun -Jul '11 (1st baby newborn)
"Suzy got my baby into a routine and I never felt that he was pushed into anything. She seemed to have a magic touch with him and always knew what he wanted and how to help him. Suzy took all the stress out of the experience and made those precious first few weeks really good fun, I would highly recommend Suzy to any parent wishing the best start for their baby."

Hi, I have twins (my first babies) due on 16 May (however the birth is scheduled for end April). I would love to have a discussion with you regarding your services. Can you please contact me at rosedyer44@gmail.com and we can exchange numbers/etc?

Thanks!
