House Elf

Postby stylishmom » Sun Sep 23, 2012 8:05 pm

Hi!

I just had to let you all know how amazing House Elf (www.houseelf.co.uk) are!!

I recently needed help clearing and cleaning and re-organising my basement - House Elf (the lovely Jake) were fabulous! So good for those little errands/tasks you just can't fit into your day.

Now they are booked to help me out at my daughter first birthday party in a few weeks, making sure my guests are well looked after and that my house is clean and tidy throughout the party.. I'm so grateful to House Elf for taking the pressure off and helping me relax.

Please do check them out for any of those odd jobs you need to do but keep putting off - they really are fab!!!

Is this a fake?
It really does sound like an ad in hiding.

It could be an ad - but I have to say, I've used them myself (and this isn't an ad !) and was very happy with the guy who turned up to give my garden a "haircut" earlier in the year - pleasant, hardworking - and the rates are reasonable - happy to recommend them :)

They also helped a friend who was let down by a removals company, shifting some additional furniture at the last minute - she was very impressed.

Not enormously reassuring to have someone who joined TODAY adding their thoughts...

Don't want to cast aspersions though.

Hi everyone,

Just logged on now and saw all the replies.

Just to clarify, yes I did register yesterday however this was only because my original email address that I used when I first joined NVN has been subject to account hacking and I have had to revert to another email address, so I have actually been on NVN since early 2011. I just changed my log on name for the fun and a bit of change.

Totally understand where the cynical viewpoints are coming from, but really sometimes things are not always coming from an egotistical place.

House Elf genuinely helped me greatly and I still highly recommend them. I have many friends who have also used them and I thought it would be nice to share with the members of NVN - nothing more and nothing less.

Well fake or not I've also had a very good experience with House Elf. They helped me move a filing cabinet and some bookshelves. They were on time, polite, courteous and remarkably good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.
