Alas money buys choice, always has been and unless something serious happens that commodities are valued higher than money, this will always be the case. Improving the state system as a whole will take a lot more money than is being spent on the private system that's for sure.
Certainly take the point about being always under pressue to make the financial ends meet to afford my aspirations for my children.
