Ofsted registered nanny. Part time/ FT av feb 2013

Postby susiep23 » Wed Oct 24, 2012 12:20 pm

Hi there. My name is susie I am an ofsted registered British nanny available from the beginning of February 2013.

I am looking for either part time say 3 days around the clapham area or full time if hours were say 8-4.30 ( very optimistic I'm sure ). I will be moving back home to Surrey but my commute by train is only 30 mins to clapham so I'm looking for work in/close to the clapham junction area. Max 9 hours a day preferable.

I love nannying seeing my charges grow and develop and being a central part in their learning and development. I am a very kind and patient nanny. I like to work with parents to establish a routine for their child/children that works for them rather than being too head strong with only my ideas. I am happy to set up routines for babies/children where required by parents or happy to follow existing routines regarding daily activities, care & discipline for their children and can give advice, suggestions where needed.

I have nannied for 4 years and worked as a senior nursery nurse and trainee early years professional within nursery environments for 4 years so I have 8 years childcare exp combining nannying and seniour nursery roles.

I am well qualified in early years with a ba hons degree in early childhood studies providing me with a wealth of knowledge of children's development and learning combined with my practical experience within my nursery roles and nannying roles.

I have experience of all ages 0-5 yesrs having cared for newborn twins in a previous nanny role, up to children aged 5 within a nursery role.As a nanny I still like to combine some elements of my nursery training by keeping a daily book for my charge including notes on daily activities undertaken, what my charge has eaten, enjoyed playing with etc and this book works as a point of reference for parents to write notes in also. I keep a medical and accident book as required by ofsted and a observation book of my charges learning and development for parents to keep and see their child's progression.

I am proactive and orgsnised. In my current role Iv sourced all activities my charge attends including tumbletots, art class, local playgroups and more.

I am very reliable ( only one sick day in the last 18months) with notification of being ill always at earliest opportunity). Always on time or early to work.

I have experience of weaning, potty training and establishing routines.

I hold a current crb and first aid.

Please contact me for further details 07792195141 or on here. Many thanks
