trying to find good shoes for my 18 month old which arent pink seams very tricky - spent ages in one step 5 pairs later - none in the right size as they seam to be out of size 6 am still no further

am desperate

I am looking for a shoe that she can wear in autumn, no party shoe but still pretty and if possible no pink or little and no aplications of any tv show

M&S do a good range of shoes including a stunning pair of silver glitter desert boots which I would get for myself if they had them in my size
Once she moves up to 7, then try Zara shoes for kids. Practical and on trend without being too girly and pink.

Papillion shoes on Elizabeth Street or Amaia Kids on Chelsea Greeen. Brown and navy Mary Jane style shoes in leather - no extras!!

Try Russel & Bromley Kids at Westfield, I have found they have a good stock but can get very busy at the weekends!

Have you tried Happytoes? They used to have a lovely shop in Balham but now they will bring a selection to your house if you let them know what you're looking for. There is absolutely no pressure to buy. They also have occasional pop-up shops in Balham.

I recently went to One Small Step on Northcote Road. They had a good selection and offered good service. I was looking for boys toddler shoes so didn't notice the baby selection but they seem to have a big selection overall.
Would advise you to go very early Sat or Sunday morning - they get busy!
If you walk in and they are busy serving customers put your name down on the list, and they will call out your name.

I think Clarks have a good range of shoes too...

Ida Delilah is in brown leather... looks very sweet and pretty plain given the request.

Also, Pediped have a shoe - Flex Bailey - Chocolate Brown. It is VERY PLAIN... and comes in Navy too. I think HappyToes sell a selection of Pediped.

Camper also does a few really plain nice kids shoes... Pricey though, but looks like they will last... (until they grow out of them).

Try John Lewis.

If it just a pink thing. Try plain boys shoes too... remember that kids grow SO fast that although you want a good shoe, you'll probably only have to live with the colour, flowers, etc... for about 4 months (give or take a month). Then you will be purchasing another pair.

I would also try TX Maxx - of course it is pure luck but i have been managed to find very good brands - Primigi, Petalsil,Pediped etc in the Clapham Junction store. The best time is straight after school drop off - they offer a full refund so i always try on at home which is so much easier.

Trotters do lovely brands with plain designs. Start Rite etc. We found a lovely taupe patent style for Autumn for our 18 month old. They do have an embroidered butterfly on which I wouldn't have chosen but the shape fit her foot the best so I gave in!

thank you everyone I did get some in trotters at the end but will def check out tkmaxx too, clarks in clapham juntion i find to small and always the boys selection much better then the girls.
