Anyone's used painter-decorator Dimitar Popov? Post Reply

Hello,

I wonder if anyone's used this painter-decorator and would recommend him. The reason for asking is that his quote for our job has come in much lower than other quotes and got us wondering. I'm looking for someone who's good with the finishings and detail.

We used Dimitar's services in the summer (both external and internal decorating) and wholehertedly recommend him. He does quality work, he is very polite, professional and tidy.

The qoute is lower because he is probably not adding a high profit margin (unlike other tradesmen who quote high assuming you can afford to pay just because of the area or postcode you live in).

Hi, we used Dimitar over the summer, he repainted our hallway, a bedroom and touched up some woodwork, as well as stripping back and repainting exterior window frames (and replacing glass).

He is very pleasant, tidy and punctual, and they did a good job on our home. He is also quite quick. I would definitely recommend him.

He also came well under another quote we had.

I can wholeheartedly recommend Dimitar - he has done several painting jobs for us and is neat, clean and punctual. Several of our neighbours have used him since and say the same!

Hi there

I need a painter after Xmas, but may i ask you a few questions?
Does his quote include the paint or do you supply it yourself? If it does include the paint, is he quoting for farrow and ball paint or the like (ie. Little green, paint library, etc) or does he buy colour matches of F&B? Does he work alone?
