Christmas Fairs/Shopping/Crafts

Postby Bee@lifeafterlondon » Mon Nov 19, 2012 7:20 pm

Does anyone know of any nice christmas shopping opportunities in the area. I like buying local/homemade/individual and there are lots of people on the internet but I'd love to know about any fairs etc so I could do it in one go!
Thanks so much.

Pop along to Flavin's Tea Room on 30th November. They are hosting a vintage Christmas shopping event all day. Lots of unique gifts on offer. Enjoy mulled wine and mince pies, teas coffees and delicious cakes while you shop!

Hi
St Andrew's Church in Earlsfield are hosting a Christmas Fair on Saturday 8th December. 11am to 3pm

There will be lots of shopping opportunities there, including:
home-made cakes, jams and preserves
locally crafted beaded and silver jewellery
knitted items and gifts
table decorations and door wreaths made by hand by an experienced florist
home-made greetings cards and money wallets
hand-sewn and designed baby quilts and taggies

and more... including traditional book stall, toys, tombola, raffle, and representatives from Pampered Chef, Phoenix Cards...

All welcome!!
We will also be serving hot soup and sandwiches, hot Asian food e.g. samosas and home made cakes!

When your shopping is complete, how about a 10 minute Reiki treatment in a quiet area, to recharge your batteries and channel your energy? Or maybe a Henna design?

Plenty for children too: Santa's Grotto run by Jumping Beans playgroup, Arts and craft run by Brownie and Rainbow parents, Lucky Dip, Guess the name of the bear, balloons etc

Best of all, the money raised will go to local charities!
Helen
