The moon on a stick

Postby lemonzest » Thu Jan 24, 2013 8:08 pm

Would like to take long weekend from London for Mothers' Day... Have car, will travel, but probs not over 2hrs.

Suggestions for hotels/cottages/etc with nearly 3 years-old which won't break the bank?

Thanks!

What about Center Parcs - the one at Longleat has the Safari park next door too! They often have great wend packages available - we went there with my niece (2.5yrs) at Christmas last year and my brother and sister in law thought it was fantastic - the Tropical Swimming Paradise is somewhere you can spend half the day (all afternoon so they are ready for bed and exhausted) the cottages or hotel rooms are self catering. there is a great spa - where you can book in for a few hours for a Mothers Day treat (only £29) The forest trails are a haven for wildlife - my niece saw deer, a badger and hegdehogs! No need for the safari park! There is a kids craft club, a lake where you can take out a boat (these do all cost extra) but the place itself is great with no traffic - so take bikes and ride around too. Hope you find something!
