Weekend Away? Travel inspiration for Feb Post Reply

Looking to go away with my partner the weekend after next. Problem is, it will be February so cold! Looking for somewhere that's outdoorsy/ relaxed but still has things to do.

Can anyone make any recommendations? Could be in the UK or a short flight. If you stayed in a lovely place and can recommend accommodation, please send me an e-mail.

Sardinia is lovely - shortish flight tho not sure what weather like in Feb.... what kind of break you looking for?

Barcelona is always a winner and not too far to go, or, fly down to Newquay for a change of scene (much better than driving if you're going for a short period) or, Istanbul which is by far my favourite suggestion. A little bit further but very doable from Fri til Sunday. Have a lovely time!
