I just wanted to let you all know about a sweet, little playgroup I went to this morning.
It was at St. Michael's Church, The crypt, Cobham Close, SW11 6SP.
The pre-school playgroup, now has a new session on Monday mornings which follows on perfectly from Rhyme Time at the library on Northcote rd.
I've always been at a bit of a loose end on mondays morning after Ryme time, especially in the winter!!!
The extra play session on MONDAYS FROM 10am-12 noon
(They're also open Tue and Wed from 0930-1130)
It's £4.50 per session with a healthy snack and hot drinks for adults.
The team leader was fun and motivated....LOADS of messy play and lots of new toys. Story time and singing with instruments, plus a parachute game!!!
I have an 8 months old and a 3 yr old and they both had a great time.
The room is small but it feels clean and cosy. For once I didn't have to follow my 3 yr around making sure she was OK. I could see her playing while I sat and played with our baby. (What a nice change). Everyone was very helpful and nice. They have out door space too for the summer.
It was quite today but I'm sure it'll soon be busy. Tuesdays are meant to be very busy and its on a first come basis.... So get walking fast from the library.
