Any personal trainer recommendations?

Postby emzy10 » Mon Mar 11, 2013 11:49 pm

Hi ya,

Just wandering if anyone can recommend good personal trainers in wandsworth common area? That isn't too extortionate! Lol ;)
Have got very lazy and need to get fit and summer body ready! (It's a long way off at the moment)

A open to ideas and suggestions!

Thank you so much in advance :D

I used Mayja for a few weeks before Christmas and we both found her very good. I had a friend along to join me for the sessions each time so she gave us a better price for 2 people. I only stopped because I injured my knee badly in a fall on ice. :(

Here's her email:

Hi there,

I am a mobile personal trainer covering the wandsworth common area.

I am flexible so we can train in your house if its raining or out on the common if you like. I'm not sure whether you have children but we can work around them if you do and either train when they are in school or having a nap or just bring them along in the buggy!

Have a look at my website so you can see whether I am the right trainer for you and see what some other clients think ... www.charlielaunder.com

Please feel free to contact me if you would like to know any more and I would be happy to go through some things with you.

All the best,
Charlie

I have a great trainer..he used to work at Virgin Active Clapham and has set up on his own now. He can do outside work or in your home. Work outs are varied and he doesn't use lots of complicated equipment so a lot of what he does you can do yourself in your own time as well to supplement your work out and keep it interesting. If you are interested I can pass on his number, let me know. Prices are negotiable i'm sure.

Try VH-PT http://www.vh-pt.co.uk/. They have a studio in Jaggard Way and also train out on Wandsworth Common. It's great as you can do 1-1 sessions (which I don't do as it's expensive) or they will find you a buddy so that the price is halved. They also run small group drop in sessions for £20 and pilates and yoga classes with a maximum of 4 people in the class for £15.

There are only 2 trainers (Vern and Andy) so they get to know you quickly and tailor the workouts to you. I had my second baby 7 months ago and I'm in the best shape of my life thanks to them and Jane Plan!

Hey,

I have tried the Moose X-Training a few times and had Nick as my trainer, but they have other ones you can choose to. They come to your house or in a number of different parks. I found it really fun and great price because there are loads of different classes you can pick ( on your own, group, running, outside, indisde etc)

I know they let you bring a partner for free as well so you can work out with someone else as well.
