Carpenter and Builder needed

Postby Jetsettingbaby » Mon Mar 11, 2013 3:50 pm

We have recently purchased a house and I am looking for a carpenter and a builder to do a small amount of work. The thing is I need someone who can work fast and isnt going to cost a fortune, We are due our 2nd baby 10 days after our move in date. Talk about taking nesting to a whole new level :? I just need to make the house livable and do the bare minimum until the baby is a little older and we can over haul the house. Has anyone got a good recommendation for a local reliable builder and or carpenter .
Thank you

I have used a fantastic carpenter called Janek in my previous and current homes. Not only is he a great carpenter who takes pride in his work but his price includes painting, so you are left with a finished piece ready to use. And he's affordable.
His number is 07551 336994

I have used Thorogood Building - who are excellent and work quickly, cleanly and are very professional. David is a carpenter by trade, but they can do pretty much anything you need. David Thorogood - http://thorogoodbuilding.com/
