*sigh* I was rather expecting (though hoping it wouldn't happen) a reply like this.
To re-iterate, I am not intending to take anything away from her play. She has a plentiful amount of that, and attends a very relaxed school. She's entirely chilled out, and non-competitive, as are we for her.
I would simply like to add an element of structure, very slowly and gradually to prepare her. It's something I always used to do myself, just 30 mins a week, but with a rather *difficult* baby this is becoming increasingly tricky. Yet, I'd still like my eldest to benefit from such time.
I'm not chaining her to a table and making her recite Pi to 200 decimal places. It's not at all unusual to have achild of this age have a relaxed and gentle half hour of 1:1.
I was asking if anyone knew, or could personally recommend someone who might suit.
