Recommendations for a carpenter / joiner Post Reply

Hi all, I'm looking for someone to replace the doors on some fitted wardrobes - they are an irregular size so they'd need to be made by hand, I think. Can anyone recommend someone they've used, local to SW11? Many thanks!

We used a lovely man - John Derbyshire - to make fitted cupboards for our sitting room and were thrilled with them. He has a great eye and is a real perfectionist. You could try David Thorogood who is an excellent carpenter - he built me some cupboards, and runs a building company. He does smaller one-off jobs as well as the big ones.

They made our cupboards in both bedrooms, an TV unit in our sitting room and they made our kitchen and I am so pleased with all of them. Really smart and the making and painting was all done in their workshop so minimum hassle for me.

Really pleased and would highly recommend.
