Hi,
Can anyone recommend a café or restaurant in Balham or close to Balham where I can take my children for dinner this Monday?
Thanks

Hi Agata,

We have not tried to take our daughter out for dinner. She is 2 years and 4 months. However we regularly go out for lunch on weekends. I found most restaurants in Balham are child friendly.

"The Clarence" pub has high chairs so does "The Avalon" which is just by Clapham South tube station.

Balham also has a Pizza Express.

Harrison's has High Chairs too.

Enjoy!
Andrea

virtually every restaurant in the area, not just pubs has high chairs.

I wouldn't restrict yourself if you are concerned by an absence of high chairs - even Lamberts and Chez Bruce has high chairs. :)

The Honest Italian is very good, and has benches that are fine for a two year-old. They do child-sized pizzas and are very friendly. Fat Deli is another option, and much of their food is good for little ones (and is quick, useful if anyone's got a short attention span...) CB has high chairs but doesn't allow really little ones at dinner, just lunch I think. I think we'll wait a couple of years for that experience, though :)
