Hi, we are new to the area having recently moved into a house near Broomwood Road. Last night ( Sunday ) all our lights downstairs went out and my husband was unable to get them working. We found a Local electrician on the Trustmark site and he was absolutely brilliant. He was here with in 30 minutes and had everything working again with in 20 minutes of arriving and the price he charged was a fraction of what we were expecting on a Sunday night ! His name was Philip and the Company is called Balham Electrical Services the number is 07595700715 . I promised I would post a review on the site because we were so pleased with his work, its always difficult to know who to call when you have just moved. I hope other Mums find this helpful !

I also used Philip from Balham Electrical Services this past weekend, as a property we let had a major electrical problem. He picked up the phone at 8am, and was there before noon... on a Saturday (over Christmas holiday period)... and had the issue sorted out right away! Very kind man, reasonably priced and excellent service. I would also highly recommend him.

Another vote of confidence for Philip from me too - he came today to sort an issue within 2 hours of my call and was great. 10% off for NVN users which is also brilliant.

And another! Phillip was great, came the day after I called, efficient, friendly and 10% discount for being a nvn user. He even popped a room on the broom flyer through my door as he thought my daughter would enjoy it!! Above and beyond!!

I would also 100% recommend Phillip. He came to help us fix a caboche light to our ceiling last week and was incredibly helfpul and patient with what was quite a tricky and long task. He was also very friendly and very good value for money.

Another recommendation for Phil from BES. He has just been and done a job for us on lights that turned out to be bigger than expected. He did a great job, thoroughly explained the problems and how to fix them so I was very confident in what he was doing and his professionalism. He is very easy to have around the house and communicates well in regards to when he can come and if he will be held up etc. His rates are very reasonable and he cleans up any mess he makes. I would thoroughly recommend him and it is a bonus he is so local.

Well i've tried calling him a few times and nobody has answered! ended up using aspect who were great.

Well I would not agree with that , I called out Aspect one evening and a chap was here for less than 10 minutes and I was charged over £150 ! I had checked all the switches in my Electrical box and they all looked up , but a big switch which looked up was actually off ! Never again. I used Balham Electrical and it was on a Sunday and they only charged £60 after giving me a 10% Discount for being a Nappy Valley user !They were great and I have used them several times since and always been very pleased. I have not had a problem getting through either , did you try the Emergency number or leave a message ?

Another big thumbs up for Philip at BES. An incredibly nice, cheerful guy, very good value, turned up on time, got the job done quickly and efficiently, cleaned up all the mess (actually wanted to start hoovering, but I wouldn't let him!).

(Oh, and I too have used Aspect in the past, and they were extortionate, didn't call back when they said they would, acted like they were doing me a massive favour by turning up at all -would NOT recommend.)

We needed some advice on upgrading the kitchen lighting (spot lights) at our home in Endlesham Road so had a look on NPN where we found Balham Electrical Services 07595700715. Philip- I'll be on the phone in the morning! It's great to get such a recommendation and trust someone. I'm a single mum and always worried I'll get ripped off with these things I don't understand.
