New holiday barns on North Norfolk Coast

Postby GreyingDad » Thu Apr 22, 2010 1:42 pm

Hi All

If you are like me and worrying about getting stuck overseas on holiday with young kids how about booking a "stay-cation" in beautiful North Norfolk. Who knows when the volcano will blow again ?

Earlier this year I finished developing two stunning (other people agree :D ) barns in a really quiet rural location. They are child friendly with highchairs, travel cots, potties etc Have a look at http://www.swanlodgebarns.co.uk where there are plenty of photos and detailed descriptions, location map and details of local pubs, attractions, farm shops etc

For those of you who can't go away without your laptops there is WiFi and one barn has a fax/printer/scanner so deals can still be closed whilst away from the big smoke.

I am offering members of NVN a 10% discount on May and June bookings if made before 9th May. Feel free to give me a call on 07973 62 44 90 or email me at gus@swanlodgebarns.co.uk if you have any queries.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hi everyone

Whilst the peak summer months are filling up there are still a few weeks available, particularly at the start/mid July. The barns have received some fantastic reviews in the visitors' books, including one that says the photographs don't do them justice which is hugely flattering!!

Only 2.5 hours drive from SW11 you could be staying in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, 2 miles from the coast. Great for families, baby and kid friendly. Plenty of parking in a private courtyard. No queuing at the airport or getting stuck somewhere due to ash clouds. One dog permitted in Taylors Barn.

Perfect for two families going on holiday together. One barn each with lunches and suppers in Taylors Barn around the dining table that seats 14. Grumpy teenagers can be in Bixes Barn watching TV whilst the adults have fun next door.

10% discount for NVN members, please quote this when making an enquiry. Have a look at http://www.swanlodgebarns.co.uk for location, floor plans, photos and availability.

Feel free to call me on 07973 62 44 90. I look forward to hearing from you. :D

ps One NVN member and family have recently returned having had a great time. Review to follow, with luck!

We recently stayed here and they are amazing. Incredibly stylish and well equipped. The most luxurious holiday home we have ever stayed in. Just the ticket to escape the BA strikes and ash cloud. They are only a couple of miles from the beach and all that Norfolk has to offer. I would highly recommend.

Just returned from Taylor's Barn and would highly recommend it. Not a bit of chintz in sight! Great attention to detail throughout - from WiFi to underfloor heating, and even rubber ducks for the bath! Within easy reach of a number of excellent, child friendly pubs serving top quality local food. Beautiful surrounding villages and plenty to do for the whole family.

Hi Everyone

Thanks to Juggling mum and FifiTrixi for the very kind feedback, it was great to have you as guests. Please do stay again.

Both barns are currently let to families with young children - lucky devils, the weather is amazing and the sandy beaches at Wells and Holkham are proving to be the perfect place to be. I also hear that the BBQs are being fired up nightly.

The only remaining availability over the summer is for the week Saturday 10th July until Saturday 17th. Both barns could be taken, with each sleeping up to 6 people. Perfect for two families wanting an early getaway at the start of the summer holidays. Have a look at http://www.swanlodgebarns.co.uk for photos, layout plans, location and where to eat/things to do etc.

If both barns are booked together the fee would normally be £2,100, however for NVN members I am happy to let them for £1,700 for the week. This works out at only £20 per person per night !

Feel free to call me on 07973 62 44 90 if you have any queries.

Regards

Gus
