Shades for Phil & Teds

Postby ckwmum » Mon May 06, 2013 10:51 pm

Can anyone help? I'm trying to work out how to keep both the kid in the rear of the Phil & Teds Sport and the front shaded from the sun. The official sun shade costs the earth so I wondered if anyone had found an alternative? I'm particularly thinking of the child in the back.

Hiya, I have the same problem.

. I tie a wide cotton scarf to the elbow joints that are still in place from having the double seat on top. When I'm not using it, I wrap it around the handle bars. When I need it, I drop it down so it hangs all the way from the handlebars around the back of the double seat. Added bonus that it helps him sleep.

Makeshift, but free!

Sadly have to say uv Phil and ted shade is great, worth buying. Solves all the problems and they can still see out well. Check out eBay as generally cheaper. Nice problem to have after the dreadful weather at least.
