My daughter goes to swimming classes at Tooting Leisure Centre. She is now 11 months but has been going since she was 6 months. The instructor is Victor and he is wonderful with her. Eight years ago he taught the son of a friend of mine so he has a lot of experience. Other instructors there are not all so good. It may be a bit of a trek but I mention it as Tooting Broadway has stair free access and Tooting Leisure Centre is walkable from it. We looked at another pool before choosing Tooting Leisure Centre because the other pool was colder and my daughter didn't like it.

My children have lessons at Clapham leisure centre. Some teachers are better than others. Lucy is very good. They have a rolling enrollment so you just sign up and start immediately. The website is https://www.sportscourses.org/Home/Swimming/tc.aspx you can search for only aquatots 1 to make it easier as the website is a bit annoying.

There is a new baby swimming pool in Wandsworth, London Baby Swim, http://www.londonbabyswim.co.uk/?gclid= ... tAod7RYAJA
but I believe it's booked up until at least July now.

I've been taking my 3.5 month old there (we've had 4 lessons) and so far we're very happy with it. It's specifically for babies and toddlers, low chlorine, lots of baby changing mats, etc
