Woodentops nursery any good?

Postby Claphammum » Tue Mar 17, 2009 10:29 pm

Hi All
Bit of advice would be great!

We've been offered Kinder spaces at the White House in Clapham (Woodentops). Any thoughts on the nursery and school?

Thanks in advance!

I have 2 children at the white house and they both went to the woodentops kindergarten. I would highly recommend both parts of the school. The kindergarten at killieser ave has a really sweet atmoshere and a great outdoor space, especially beneficial in the summer term.My little girl was really in to sitting down and doind drawing, crafts etc and it worked well for her. My little boy was the exact opposite, in that he never wanted to sit down, just run around and play. Woodentops worked equally well for both of them. The teacher, Sally, is a mother of 2 young kids, so she knows what it's like to be a parent. The white house school itself is small and very friendly. They seem to achieve good academic results and confident and polite children. Having 2 children there may make me biased, but I canonly speak from my own experience, which has been very positive. Hope this helps
