4 year old Golden retriever looking for new home

Postby vanillamummy » Tue Jun 04, 2013 9:05 pm

We will be moving to Australia after summer and we are looking for a new home for our beloved Golden retriever. She is four years old and she is just a brilliant dog.She has been with us since she was 8 weeks old, my two daughters were 1&3 at that time. She is so good with our children and any visitors. She is very chill out and relax. Her parents ( she has 6 pedegree generations) are working dogs with special needs children. Please do get in touch if you want to give home to our dog.

Hello!

You're retriever sounds lovely :-) What a sad decision to have to make, but above all a loving and selfless act in the long term.

We are looking to rehome... We have had a Springer Spaniel and a Black Lab to date. We live right by Battersea Park and are looking to rehome rather than buy a puppy as we had done with our previous dogs, we thought this would be a great option third time around. Please do let me know if you would like to chat further. I work just off Northcote and live locally so very close by.

I would be really interested to talk to you about this. Your dog sounds great and perfect for our family. We have 3 children and live beside Wandsworth common.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

I'd love to have her but I think my children take up enough time at the moment!

If you're moving permanently why don't you take her with you? I'm sure there is a lot to do eg jabs, paperwork etc but it would be worth it.

It might be worth to her breeder to help rehome her. My mum breeds gun dogs and always asks that owners of puppies contact her first before rehoming so that she can ensure that the dogs are in good homes - also breeder is likely to know of people looking for older dogs so may be able to help that way if you don't have any luck here.
