Activities for a 2.5y old girl

Postby sw11_ » Mon Jul 22, 2013 5:52 pm

I'm going back to work soon and want to sign my daughter up to a few regular activities for her to do with the nanny. Have signed up for Artful Toddler - can anyone recommend any others? We used to do Tin Pan Annie but would be interested in trying a new music class as we're both a bit bored with TPA having gone for 2 years now. Keen to find music/drama/sport/ballet classes - anything really.

Thanks

Most things will re-start in September now, but these are the ones I recommend!

Ballet:

www.fancyfootwork.co.uk

My daughter has been attending since she was 2, and has LOVED it. We are continuing with ballet in September even though she is starting school.

Playball:

www.playballondon.com

Again, she has done this since aged 2, we are stopping now as I feel it's too much once she starts Reception, but she absolutely loves it, and will continue to do the holiday camps. You can pick your class-I'd recommend looking for a class taught by Nataly-she is FANTASTIC!

Music wise when my daughter was little we did Monkey Music

www.monkeymusic.co.uk

which she loved, but we didn't do them past 2 yrs.

Hope that helps.

My two and a half year old boy does Diddi dance at his nursery and absolutely loves it. He's actually stopping going to nursery at the end of August as he starts pre school in September but I'm going to sign him up to the diddi dance classes that are run every Monday morning just off of Clapham High Street for September.

Ecole de Danse of Balham offers ballet classes from 2 years old.

Classes are small in a great studio. The kids love their classes

Hi,

I think you already mentioned Artful Toddler which we think is great and have been going to for a year and a bit. We also do Playball which we've done about a year and a half of which is also fab although think one of mine is getting a little bored. We also do a ballet class on Wandsworth Road.

Hope this helps.
