Hi everyone. We're moving to Teddington and it would be a huge help to t some recommendations as we're completely new to the area. We're looking for nurseries, or a nanny agency, playgroups ( imagine we need to get on the waiting list for some?), classes for an 18mth locally, a cleaning agency and a carpenter. And finally an Aveda hair salon! Any ideas v much appreciated!

Welcome to Teddington!! It's a fab place to live with a young family - you never hear anyone saying a bad word. On the day nursery front would suggest Buttons, Building Blocks or Asquith's. Playgroups - we love Teddington Methodist Parents and Under Threes (PU3s) on Stanley Road on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Then when they hit 2.5 Playwam is very popular as is The Pavillion.

Would also highly recommend 'Elements' on the high street or 'Vida' on Church Street for all your hair styling!!

Not sure about a carpenter... but sure someone has a local recommendation....!!!
