Can anyone recommend somewhere local for a private early pregnancy ultrasound scan?

Not local but there's The Birth Company on Harley street

I do remember hearing about a place in Wimbledon. Have just googled and there's somewhere called Ultrasound Direct in Wimbledon. But not used them myself.

I had a 7 week scan at St Thomas's so I'm sure any hospital would do them for a private fee.

Also, I had a 3D scan at a place behind Clapham junction (where the buses wait) so they may do other scans too.

It's not private but the Early Pregnancy Unit at Chelsea and Westminster is very nice and easy to get into quickly. I had a 6 week scan scheduled a week in advance and a10 week scan booked within a couple days after some spotting. Here's a list of other NHS ones in London:

also early pregnancy unit at st. georges hospital tooting. not private but you can self refer without visiting your gp. open mornings, lanesborough wing.

St George's in Tooting have an early pregnancy unit. They don't charge and you don't need a referral.

We also went to the place by Clapham Junction at 32 weeks for an extra peek at baby, they were very nice. I think it cost £60.

The Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley Street is top notch, although not been there for a few years!

I checked all of the clinics on Harley St, and ended up using this one for a gender scan. I was very happy with my experience and their rates seemed more reasonable than some of the others. http://www.ultrasound-direct.com/babybo ... ncy-scans/

I'd highly recommend The Fetal Medicine Centre on Harley Street. Have had scans there for all three of my pregnancies. They take blood and perform a very detailed nuchal scan with immediate results. The professor there Professor Kypros Nicolaides was simply amazing when I had possible complications with my first pregnancy. He only sees the 'problematic' cases but all the other doctors, in my opinion, have been top notch. A nuchal scan costs £180 and all profits are put back into the foundation for research purposes.

I also highly recommend The Fetal Medical Centre. I am pretty sure that Professor Nicolaides is the "pioneer" of the nuchal Scan so you cannot get better ! Also its not for profit - everything they make gets reinvested into research.

Hi there we've just been to baby bond in wimbledon such a lovely place and lady there was just lovely, and really good scan pics aswell. I'm going back at 26 weeks for 4d she said its amazing!
